Fabjab @ Pride Centre
Star Health, in partnership with Thorne Harbour Health are running a special Vaccination Pop Up Clinic
at the Pride centre for Rainbow Vaxx Week.
Members of the local LGBTIQ+ community can come here to get their Fab Jab in a culturally supportive and safe space.
The hours of operations are:
Monday to Wednesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday and Friday 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 to 6:00pm
Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines available.

St Kilda Affordable Art Show @ Space2b
Applications close Friday 19 November
Exhibition: 1 December 2021 – 29 January 2022
Local artists and creatives are invited to offer works for sale in an exhibition in the lead up to Christmas and New Year celebrations. As an affordable art show, Space2b are limiting prices to a maximum of $300 per piece, with the exception of artists donating their commission to benefit the work of Space2b
Works will be accepted in a wide range of styles and mediums, including paintings, etchings, drawings, jewellery, clothing, ceramics, photography & limited edition prints.

Vax so they may open safely @ Port Phillip Council
Some of Port Phillip most respected business, arts and community identities are encouraging residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19 so they can re-open safely. (Pictured above: Luna Park Executive Director Mary Stuart)
The new Council social media campaign involves high profile local people from the Palais Theatre, Luna Park, Victorian Pride Centre, Stokehouse, St Kilda MEMO Music Hall, the Astor, Linden New Art, the Jewish Museum and South Melbourne Market.
Together they are calling for people to get their vaccination so venues can re-open safely.
Closed for over 250 days – vax so the doors can open
Here’s some sobering facts … 
Luna Park has been closed for over 250 days and counting.
Palais has cancelled 192 performances and lost 57,600 staff hours.
Linden New Art has been closed for over 250 days.
And the list goes on …

Toys galore with a special discount @ Elwood Toy Library
Until 17 December 2021 all new memberships and renewals of the toy library will be discounted by 15%
The Elwood Toy Library is a not-for-profit community resource that lends toys, games, puzzles, costumes, sporting equipment and ride-on toys.
Located in the Elwood Neighbourhood House (87 Tennyson Street), the library is bursting with over 2000 toys and games available for loan.
Members can also hire great party packs.
The library has a special promotional offer with yearly memberships from only $85 (limited time only offer, normally $100).
You can also purchase a membership as a birthday or Xmas gift for a family you know – hint, hint grandparents!

Support the Lockdown Lottery @ St Columba’s Primary Elwood
A fund raiser to help funs air purifiers for every classroom
St Columba’s Primary Elwood have launched a lottery with great prizes, including a 3 night stay in Bright, a $150 Leaf voucher, a massage and more.
The funds raised will go towards purchasing and installing air purifiers in every classroom.
As a small Catholic school they get some state funding, but need more to help cover the cost.
Everybody can join this lottery, including the wider community of Elwood and beyond.
You can join even if your child does not attend our school.
Entries close 28 October, prizes drawn 29 October
