“Vote Wesa Chau for more actions and less words in Prahran – we will continue to build inclusive community infrastructure, schools, childcare and hospitals.”

In her own words
Who am I?:
I’m Wesa, a local social entrepreneur. Coming to Australia as a migrant with little English, I understand the importance of an inclusive and well-resourced education system responsive to the different needs of students.
Why?:
I learnt through the years that if you wanted to make changes in our community, you must participate in the process, advocate and collaborate. I’ve worked with multicultural communities, people with a disability, family violence survivors, youth and seniors, and will continue to champion for inclusion.
Why me?
As a young Victorian of the Year (2010), Australia Day Ambassador for many years, inductee of the Victorian Honour Roll of Women (2012). I can not only talk the talk but walk the walk on leadership and implementation.
Why here?
I’m a local who’s lived in our community for over 15 years, I’ve studied at the Swinburne University Prahran campus and work locally. The benefits of an upgraded and fully supported major tertiary hospital, The Alfred, on our doorstep is really important to me and our community.
