Nomi Kaltmann
Independent for Caulfield

In her own words
Who am I?
My name is Nomi Kaltmann and I am the independent candidate for the seat of Caulfield. I am a mother, lawyer and journalist. I stand for integrity in politics, climate action, strong economy and gender equality.
Why?
There are too many scandals in politics. Parliament should reflect the best of our community, not the worst. I want to contribute to a better society and community.
Why me?
I was born in Caulfield and have always been involved in giving back to people who are disadvantaged, promoting women in leadership, helping persons recently released from jail and sitting on charitable boards.
Why here?
My whole life is here. I went to school in the Caulfield electorate, my kids go to school here and my friends and family all live here. I love this community of thoughtful and caring people.

Animal Justice PartyAsher Myerson
Animal Justice Party candidate for Caulfield

In his own words (updated 1 Nov)
Who am I?
I am a passionate educator and activist for social and environmental change. As a high school teacher, I see it as my responsibility to empower young people with a strong values-based education.
Why and why me?
I am committed to promoting the Party’s values of kindness, equality, rationality and non-violence. I want to see the codes of education brought into the world of politics. Having been vegan since 2015, I advocate for the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle in mitigating climate change and opposing animal cruelty. I am also standing as a candidate to empower more young adults to become involved in politics and to prioritise their voice.
Why here?
I am proud Balaclava local. I love this area and want to do my best to represent all residents of Caulfield District. I love all things sport related and recently completed my first full marathon.
