Genius invites you into a series of immersive encounters with eight unique thinkers, where each Genius will present their perspective on the topic of their expertise. With subjects ranging from Royal Families of the World, Australian Animals, Linguistics, 21st Century Fashion and Gough Whitlam, Genius is a unique opportunity to see life through an alternative lens – a surprising, eclectic walk through the inner – workings of a group of exceptional minds. Daughter premier at Town Hall
Daughter is a locally produced short film that explores gender violence and victim blaming. Writer and director Sarah Jayne was inspired to write Daughter by the media portrayals of the violent deaths of Jill Meagher in Brunswick and St Kilda’s Tracy Connelly.
