Childrens’ workshop with Kids’ Own Publishing artist Lisa Gardiner who will show kids how to write and illustrate their own origami-fold book for publication. They will learn the process of folding the book, and filling the pages with artwork and text and will be able to draw inspiration from themes explored in the works of exhibiting artist Samuel Tupou.

Sticks Stones Broken Bones @ National Theatre

Using household objects and bits of rubbish, Bunk Puppets transforms simple objects into hilarious silhouette stories. The puppetry is performed in front of the shadow screen, so that the audience gets a close look at the visual trickery. Old toys, brooms, boxes and discarded clothing, are deftly stitched together to create shadow puppet stories and characters.

Featuring Duke, the resident Astor Theatre Cat’s favourite internet cat videos, this session is peeerfect for cat lovers. The audiences will have a score card to vote from all the videos screenings through the ceremony – these will then be tallied and the audience favourite will be decided.
