This is a show for anyone who engages, reluctantly or otherwise, with the Internet. It’s a cyberpunk detective story. It’s a maniacal Ted talk. It’s a live-action 90s hacker movie. And it’s all true. We think. We’re getting confused. And paranoid. We’re probably on a watchlist. Not that we’ve done anything wrong. We’ve nothing to hide. We have no enemies. Has anyone actually read the terms & conditions? $45 / $35

Enough says ECAT @ Elwood Canal
Fed up with litter flowing freely into the bay via the Elwood Canal / Elster Creek, Elwood locals have formed the Elwood Canal Action Team (ECAT) to fight the good fight against inaction by authorities and council.
ECAT are showing the way by collecting litter and disposing of it correctly (such as the bags pictured above collected by Paul Cullity & Julian Viola before it goes into our bay). Others are using pool scoops to collect the tide of waste that flows daily. Meanwhile authorities like Melbourne Water and CoPP (who received a significant Federal grant to improve litter diversion) are obviously not doing enough.
Petition calls for action
Local MP James Newbury has set up a petition that already has nearly a 1000 signatures. The petition requests the State Minister to meet with locals to frame a better action plan.

Council election 2024
Vital information
All councils in Victoria will be elected by postal voting closing on
Friday 25 October 2024.
Everyone on the voters roll on Friday 30 August will receive a postal ballot pack in early October.
The voting pack will include the ballot paper, a reply-paid envelope, the candidate information statement and multi-language leaflet for voters.
After vote counting, the new councillors will be elected on 1 November for a 4 year term.
Nominations for council close noon Tuesday 24 September
New single councillor wards
This voting will elect one councillor in each of nine new awards.
Voting is preferential and it’s likely that most results will be decided by preferences.
Voters can expect to have at least three candidates in each ward, but possibly many more.
