Jewish Museum CEO Rebecca Forgasz leaving for new job at Monash
After more than nine years at the Jewish Museum, Rebecca Forgasz is leaving to take up a new role at the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation at Monash University.

BIG Sculpture prize @ Veg Out
Veg Out has announced an outdoor sculpture exhibition and competition with over $5000 is prize money.
Works will be on display at the gardens in November.

Pride Centre foundation stone @ Fitzroy Street
A symbolic foundation stone was laid on Friday to mark the start of construction (and to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall protest). When complete in 2020, the centre will host eight major LGBTIQ organisations and a bevy of smaller groups in a very specy building.
