There’s a buzz about Red Stitches world premier of The Honey Bees. As the world’s honeybees disappear, a family-owned apiary struggles to keep up with overseas demand. Driven by matriarch Joan’s iron will, the business continues to grow. And then Melissa arrives out of the blue. The Honey Bees is a tale of Family and Empire; Action and Consequences; and what happens when the bee finally stings.

Fête De La Musique X 2
Presented by the Alliance Française Melbourne, 2016 Fete de la Musique (Make Music Day) is celebrated with two free events.
Thursday 16 June @  St Kilda Library, (6 pm – 7.30pm) the students of Elwood College and the Trio Benoit featuring Dave Evans (accordion), James Sherlock (guitar) and Adam Spiegl (double bass) will perform in the St Kilda Library.
Sunday 19 June @ Memo, from 2.30pm, the Memo Music Hall welcomes the main Fête de la Musique event, featuring four exciting local live acts:Ali Barter, Penny Ikinger, Baro and The Seven Ups
